Elder Berries/ Sambucus nigra
Tinctures are available in 1 and 2 ounce glass bottles with dropper and in a 4oz jar.
We use dried berries and make the tincture with 100 proof vodka.
The process takes at least 6 weeks. Tinctures have a shelf life of up to 5 years.
Syrups are available in a 4oz bottle.
We make a dried berry decoction and add local honey. Keep refrigerated and use within 3 months.
Sometimes tinctures and syrups are made with fresh berries when available.
